Blitz on Dog Fouling
Everyone knows the feeling when you realise you have just stood in dog poo ... not very nice is it?
Statistics show that for the Norris Green, Croxteth and Fazakerley areas there were over 428 confirmed reports of dog fouling to the city council in 2009/2010. Cobalt wants to make our residents aware of the nuisance dog fouling causes and help us to clean up our estates.
We need your help
If you see someone allowing their dog to foul in a public area and not cleaning up after themselves, you can report the incident to Liverpool Direct on 0151 233 3000. If you are caught allowing your dog to foul without cleaning up you may be fined £50.00 – failure to pay this fine will lead to a court summons.
We have a purchased a supply of ‘dog poo’ bags which will be available free of charge to local residents to make sure you clean up after your pooch! Please speak to your Housing Officer or call into the Cobalt office to collect your supply.
