Boundary Wall Programme

We are in the process of delivering a boundary wall programme in Colesborne, Scarisbrick, Brick Boot and Braybrooke estates which is due for completion in 2010. We have been given a commitment by our Board of Management to spend over £4m on boundary walls, hardstandings and driveways and to date in the Colesborne and Scarisbrick estates we have completed: 

867 boundary walls 
414 hardstandings 
517 drop kerbs 

The replacement criteria is to provide a secure boundary treatment and off road parking for our tenants homes where appropriate. A decision has been made by our Board of Management to offer tenants living in the Scarisbrick estate a range of options on the railing designs. The preferred railing design installed was based on the majority of tenant’s choice. As a result, tenants living in Scarisbrick have chosen a different railing detail to those tenants living in Colesborne. A detailed programme of works is being developed for the remaining properties to benefit from boundarytreatments in consultation with local residents.
