Block Modernisation Programmes

Cobalt Housing has committed to spend up to £1m by 2011 to externally modernise all of our communal blocks of flats.
During 2009-10, we are scheduled to externally modernise blocks of flats in Landford Place, Elmham Crescent and Mosspits Close. We are pleased to announce NSC has been appointed as the nominated contractor to carry out the works.

Detailed below is a breakdown of when works are scheduled to take place:

Blocks Estimated start & finish dates
Landford Place July 2009 – August 2010
Elmham Crescent September 2009 – November 2009
Mosspits Close December 2009 – March 2009

Following works to blocks we will be upgrading all flats with a brand new door entry system. This includes video entry systems in all properties and new communal doors to blocks. Once your block has been modernised we will write to you and inform you when we will be completing works to doors.
